Our team consists of passionate and talented and ambitious Product Managers and Designers who continuously evolve our products to maximize business value and improve user experience.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior UI Designer to join our Product team to work on a large, complex system that brings innovation to healthcare. You’ll be working closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers and Stakeholders to design solutions that would address business and user needs by considering the end-to-end experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of user-centered design, take ownership of their work, possess good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a detail-oriented and forward-thinking designer who is ready to transform complex tasks and flows into simple yet intuitive experiences for users. You are able to work autonomously to lead your product vertical but thrive in a collaborative environment.

This role reports directly to the Product Design Lead.

• Designing user friendly, accessible, delightful and intuitive user interfaces based on research and best practices
• Produce icons, illustrations and visual designs from wireframes
• Support product designers in defining user flows, creating wireframes and prototypes
• Present and articulate the concepts to the teams
• Contribute and maintain DA design system and components libraries
• Work with the product designers, product managers, engineers, and cross functional teams to deliver the right solutions for our end users
• Implement and adhere to our design processes, standards, and best practices
• Work closely and support engineering team during design handoff and implementation
• Adopt to agile methodology and work with the team to develop, test, analyze and iterate the design with end objectives and key results in mind

About you

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Design or related fields with minimum 5 years of experience designing consumer-facing applications across digital platforms (native mobile apps and responsive web apps).
• A digital portfolio that demonstrates the visual design and illustration skills (Branding and advertising work may not be considered) 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance 
• Positive attitude with a continuous passion for self-improvement
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop 
• Proficiency in working with design systems (preferably Figma)
• Familiar with user-centric design principles, iOS and Android UI guidelines and best practices
• Good communication skills (oral, written and listening) in order to articulate design issues effectively. You would also be expected to present and rationalise your design thinking through key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
• You have a growth mindset and open to share and receive design feedback with others
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process would be an advantage
