Our Finance department is a fundamental part of Doctor Anywhere and plays a major role in ensuring the company's financial stability. We are responsible for advising management on financial decisions that have a far reaching impact on the company's future.

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis who will be in charge of the financial planning & provide financial insights.   

The ideal candidate will have a mindset of continuous improvement and change and will demonstrate curiosity, collaboration and the ability to deal with ambiguity especially in a start-up environment. You are passionate about providing excellent internal client support across the entire organization and have prior experience in accounting. 

This role is based in Singapore and reports directly to the Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and country teams to provide thought leadership to help drive decision making, provide financial insight, and build operational rigor and efficiency
• Develop and fine tune budgeting exercises and financial forecasts with business leaders/teams, including setting operational goals, application of business judgement and financial insights to help with decision making
• Prepare reports for monthly and quarterly forecasts and budgets with business leaders/teams
• Work with the finance team to prepare investor reports, including providing insights on segment performance
• Assist with preparation of internal materials for board and leadership team meetings
• Work closely with regional business and country teams to ensure reporting timelines are met
• Analyse trends and variances between actuals and budget, as well as provide insights on potential action plans to achieve/outperform budgets
• Run analysis to uncover growth opportunities, cost efficiencies, or ways to further mitigate risks

About You

• Degree level qualification in Accounting / Business / Quantitative fields of study with minimum 6 years of working experience in Finance teams
• Prior experience in FP&A and/or financial accounting teams is required
• Excellent knowledge and background in budgeting, performance reporting, financial operations, and accounting
• Eager to learn and embrace new challenges, with strong desire to develop professionally
• Proactive in seeking innovative solutions to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently
• Be comfortable with ambiguity - we're a fast-growing business and there's always unchartered territories, which is part of the fun. You should be comfortable with it and understand that not everything is 100% defined all the time
• Team player with unquestioned integrity and high standards in the work you do
• Able to work independently with high attention to detail
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills
