About the team

Our Regional Growth team is critical to Doctor Anywhere's development. Our main responsibility is to expand our business horizons beyond Singapore, forging strategic partnerships regionally. We work together to make healthcare accessible to millions of users across Southeast Asia and beyond.

About the role

  • Coach and lead a team of Business Development Managers and Executives.
  • Build team to execute on opening and closing deals end-to-end including pitching, alignment, negotiation, contracting, implementation and engagement.
  • Have a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape including competitors, legal regulations etc 
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the company offerings to identify new business opportunities. 
  • Research emerging trends and recommend new company offerings to satisfy customer’s needs. 
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to drive revenue from potential partners including insurance, insurance brokers and corporate partners.
  • Generate and qualify new leads and be resourceful in using multiple approaches to penetrate prospective accounts.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client’s pain points and communicate user requirements to improve our product offerings.
  • Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing etc) to localize and/or customize the products/solutions suitable for Malaysia..
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned. 


About you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with at least 10 years of Business Development experience in a fast-paced environment in Tech/Healthcare or similar industries
  • Strong understanding of P&L statements and pricing models 
  • Experience with Insurers, Insurance Brokers & Corporate Human Resources is an added advantage
  • Able to maintain objectivity and possess proactive problem solving skills, along with the ability to make timely and effective recommendations to resolve problems as they arise
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to drive changes and with continuous improvement mentality
  • Excellent team player to facilitate close partnering with local and regional teams
  • Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Entrepreneurial and able to seek out different kinds of business opportunities
  • Experience of working within a tech startup and hyper growth environment is essential
  • A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges. 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
